2 Ways to Landscape 1 Specific Page in Word (+Image)
On Ms. Word, there are 2 paper positions (orientation) namely portrait and landscape. Well, in this article, I will discuss about landscape. What is landscape position? Landscape is a paper shape that extends horizontally.
Given that there is a variety of information that can be entered into Ms. Word, the orientation of the paper will certainly be adjusted to the needs. Sometimes, we do need a paper shape that extends horizontally in order to contain certain content.
What if we only want to make one page in the form of a landscape? To overcome this, you can listen to the explanation of how to landscape a certain page in Word below.
A. Creating Landscape Pages with Custom Margins
Here I will give an example of how to make 1 page containing one image into a landscape form. The following is an example of a page that will be converted to landscape form. This page will be better if it is in landscape position so that the image on the page can be enlarged. That way, images will be easier to see and text will be easier to read.
Pay attention to the steps below.
1. First of all, don’t forget to put your cursor on the page that you want to change to landscape as shown below. You also select the text on the page.
2. Open tab Page Layout, then click menu Margins as indicated by the arrows in the image below.
3. Then, click Custom Margins as indicated by the arrows in the image below.
4. After that, the Page Setup window will appear. On the Margins tab, click Landscape in the orientation section marked by the number 1. Then, click the dropdown menu in the Apply to section marked by the number 2, then click This point forward. Click OK to save the changes as indicated by the arrows in the image below.
Notes: If in step 1, you block/select the text on the page that you want to change to landscape, then the options that appear are Selected text then select the Selected text option.
5. Now, the page is in landscape shape without affecting the paper orientation of the other pages.
B. Creating Landscape Pages with Shortcuts to Custom Margins
In addition to the above method, you can use a simpler method, namely by using shortcuts. Shortcuts are shortcuts / quick ways to run a program on a computer using the keyboard. The method that will be used still follows the first method, it’s just that this method uses shortcut keys.
Here below are the steps to make 1 page in Word into landscape with a shortcut.
1. Similar to the first method, make sure to place your cursor on the page that you want to change to landscape as shown below. You also select the text on the page.
2. Press ALT + P on the keyboard to open the Page Layout tab. After you perform this command, in addition to the Page Layout tab open, instructions for other shortcuts will appear as well.
3. For example, press the M key on the keyboard to open the Margins menu. The command appears as indicated by the arrow in the image below.
4. Then, to open the menu Custom Margins, press the A button according to the command indicated by the arrow in the image below.
5. After that, the Page Setup window will appear. On the Margins tab, press ALT + S keys to select the Landscape paper orientation as indicated by the arrows in the figure.

Well, that’s 2 ways to make 1 specific page on Ms. Word is in landscape form. Hopefully the discussion that has been described above is useful. Thank you!
