Still not dead, SEGA Dreamcast gets a new game Arcade Racing Legends

The old SEGA Dreamcast console turns out to be a new game coming. The racing game titled Arcade Racing Legends will become the newest console game that was popular 20 years ago. This game is made by developer named PixelHeart which previously released various games on the SEGA Dreamcast.

The developer, PixelHeart has been in the gaming industry for a long time releasing various titles across platform. Starting from the Nintendo 64 to today’s popular consoles like PS 4, Xbox One and Switch. Maybe PixelHeart wants to share its classic experience with fans through this Arcade Racing Legends that will be released on the SEGA Dreamcast. Likewise with the development of the SEGA Dremacast game, reportedly the developer is conducting a fundraising campaign. And it turns out that the campaign has received a good response, Mr developer managed to get close to $80,000 in funding.

There is also a lot of funding to develop games on old-school consoles.

Arcade Racing Legends offers a car racing game in the style of the iconic Crazy Taxi game with several modes on offer. Starting from career, duel and time trial. Players can also try more than 15 cars to drive and 6 circuits with urban and desert backgrounds.

Don’t expect the visuals to be as cool or at least similar to the latest released games. Naturally a SEGA Dreamcast game, Arcade Racing Legends offers visuals by the standards of this old console. The plan is that this game will be marketed in a limited way, only in 3000 units. The sales package consists of the game itself, the manual and a certificate of authenticity that this game was indeed released for the SEGA Dreamcast.
