Review : Harman Kardon Onyx Studio – Affordable Stylish Portable Speaker

IMG_0287

This life style genre speaker, although not included in the gaming speaker category, is enough to make the Pemmz team curious. The first is of course because of its very attractive shape. Even before turning on, the Pemmz team was sure that the sound that was spread would be evenly distributed throughout the area due to its shape that supports omnidirectional.

Design

As a portable speaker, the design of the H/K Onyx Studio is very simple but elegant. Not only focusing on design, H/K also thought very carefully wherever this speaker was applied. Although for more leverage, the placement position determines the quality of sound reproduction, close to the wall for example.

Performance

Power of 2 x 15 Watt, is considered sufficient to tolerate a room measuring up to 4 × 4 meters, even for a wider outdoor space. Onyx Studio is equipped with 2 middriver 3” and 3⁄4” tweeter which is able to release the sound reproduction quality from its digital amplifier very impressively. As well as a passive radiator for a speaker of this size will amaze you when singing dance genre songs. H/K Onyx Studio is claimed to be able to sharpen sound in all ranges from 60Hz ~ 20Khz.

Conclusion

This speaker has a character that you can rely on in all areas of the room, even outside
room. With the addition of an integrated battery that is claimed to last up to 5 hours, the H/K Onyx Studio is truly a true portable speaker. For those of you who need entertainment in a car that is only “blessed” with a startup class sound system or even not equipped with a sound system at all, Pemmz highly recommends this Onyx Studio.

As mentioned above, the weakness that Pemmz considers very fatal is the unavailability of Aux in, let alone Aux out. This makes it mandatory for users to have bluetooth technology gadgets. But pemmz think, in the era of ICT as it is today, even 150,000 cellphones already have Bluetooth features. Do not believe? See the HP counter next to
