PUBG and Mobile Legends Become the Most Played Esports Games in Indonesia

Who is not familiar with these two games? From those who really love the game, to those who just want to fill their spare time. According to several studies, PUBG Mobile and Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang (MLBB) are the most played games in Indonesia.

This number is quite a lot when compared to other games, which also enter the realm of esports. Just take one of them Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM). Even though the rating is above PUBG and MLBB –4.3 stars– but CODM can’t beat the total number download PUBG and MLBB. Amount download CODM only reached 10 million.

Another example of a game is Arena of Valor. This is one of the MOBA games that is also competed in a number of esports competitions around the world. Last September, Hybrid media together with Jakpat Mobile also conducted a survey. The survey also shows that PUBG and MLBB are indeed the most played games in Indonesia.

The survey was conducted on 1,445 respondents. They are gamers who play on smartphones, PCs, and also those who follow the news about esports. As a result, there were 78 respondents who claimed to know MLBB in the first place. The next order, they know PUBG Mobile. The next sequence, there is PUBG for PC, Free Fire, and DOTA 2.

Many mobile games are chosen because of their ease of use. Moreover, in Indonesia the internet is easier to access via a smartphone than from a personal computer (PC) or console. In addition, not everyone can buy a PC or console.

However, this data does not mean that there are few PC and game console connoisseurs in Indonesia. It’s just that the fans are dominated by gamer true. Not from them casual gamer who only play to pass the time.
