Mobile Legends and Tekken 7 National Teams Win Silver Medals in SEA Games Trial

SEA Games 2021 is just around the corner. The Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee (PHISGOC) held a simulation of a special Esports match. In the trial simulation, the Indonesian National Team for Mobile Legends and Tekken 7 Indonesia managed to win a silver medal.

Although the simulation is carried out directly by PHISGOC, not all games that will be competed in the espost branch are tested. The committee only conducted three trials, namely DOTA 2, Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang (MLBB), and Tekken 7.

The countries participating in this simulation did not come from all participants. There are only 4 countries participating in the pilot simulation, namely Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and of course the Philippines. Although the status is a trial but all teams compete like a real match.

Countries that take part in this trial seem to want to use this opportunity to map out their opponent’s abilities at the SEA Games later. So from there they can design strategies to deal with each team.

of two games In this case, the Indonesian national team only sent two of them. Namely, MLBB and Tekken 7. Indonesia did not send a representative team to take part in the trials in DOTA 2.

There are six players who represent Indonesia in MLBB. Four of them are representatives of Evos Esports, while two of them are members of Onic Esports. The Indonesian representative for Tekken 7 was only represented by 1 person.

Now the results of the trial Indonesia had to be satisfied until the semifinals. The MLBB and Tekken 7 teams were forced to fall by their opponents in the semifinals. Both were defeated by the Philippine National Team. The Indonesian team had to settle for third place and was entitled to a silver medal.
