Wow! PLN Officially Presents 100 Mbps Internet at a Price of 400 Thousands. Suitable for Gamers!

GAMEFINITY.ID, Salatiga – Competition for broadband internet providers in Indonesia is now getting fiercer. Now one of the Indonesian state-owned companies, namely PLN, is also providing fiber-optic-based internet services.

On Thursday, June 3, 2021, PLN officially launched a fiber optic-based internet service called iconnet. This service is managed by PT Indonesia Comnet Plus which is a subsidiary of PLN.

PLN President Director Zulkifli Zaini revealed his ambition to make Iconnet the largest internet service provider in Indonesia. Zulkifli Zaini also targets that by 2024 Iconnet users will reach 20 million subscribers.

“We hope that Iconnet will become one of the largest fixed broadband internet market shares in Indonesia, and God willing, we will be able to achieve the targets that we have set together,” said Zulkifli Zaini at the Iconnet launch event.

In addition, Zulkifli Zaini also guarantees that the Iconnet service will come with internet services that are reliable, reliable, affordable and free of quotas.

Very Low Subscription Fee

In an effort to compete in the internet provider market, Iconnet relies on their main weapon, namely the very low cost of internet package subscriptions.

For the Jabodetabek area, the Iconnect subscription fee is in the range of IDR 185 thousand until IDR 427 thousand per month for speed 10 Mbps until 100 Mbps. This price is quite surprising because Iconnet outperforms other state-owned internet providers, namely Indihome who sells packages 100 Mbps with price 915 thousand rupiah.

Iconnet services can now be enjoyed in various big cities on the islands of Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Bali, to Maluku.
