Windows 11 Reportedly Caused PUBG and COD Accounts to Be Banned

GAMEFINITY.ID, Purworejo – Some time ago, Microsoft announced its newest operating system Windows 11 and is expected to be present in October. However, now Microsoft has released its Insider Preview version. Many users ended up joining the Windows Insider Program because they couldn’t wait to taste Windows 11.

As we know, the Insider Preview version is a version that is still under development and it is likely that users will experience a number of bugs and problems because it is still not stable.

Sure enough, recently some posts on Reddit from gamers reported that their PUBG and Call of Duty accounts were banned after using Windows 11.

Windows 11

This seems to have happened because the BattlEye anti-cheat system found in the PUBG and Call of Duty games failed to recognize the Windows 11 OS and instead considered it a cheat.

This BattlEye anti-cheat system is not only found in PUBG and Call of Duty games, but also in the Battlefield and Rainbow Six: Siege series. So problems like this can also occur in these games.

For now, the issue seems to have been resolved in the PUBG game. PUBG Corp as the developer of PUBG announced on Reddit that the issue has been fixed. However, for Call of Duty, until now there is no further information about this.

For those of you who play these games, you should not upgrade to Windows 11 first. Although it has been fixed, it is possible that other bugs will be present. So, just wait for Microsoft to release the final version of Windows 11.
