Update 1.3 Genshin Impact Will Add Controller Support for IOS Version

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – miHoYo will soon launch the latest update of its flagship RPG, Genshin Impact. In an update that is planned to be released in early February, Genshin Impact will later get official controller support on iOS devices.

The announcement comes in the latest Developer Discussion for the game which outlines the current state of the game and details the upcoming changes. The third question in the post asks about controller support on iOS devices. This was responded by miHoYo who said that the 1.3 game update would provide controller support.

“Developers have heard your voice – from Version 1.3 onwards, devices whose operating system has been upgraded to iOS 14 or higher will now support Xbox Wireless Controller (Bluetooth Version), Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, PlayStation DualShock 4 Wireless Controller, and iOS-specialized Bluetooth controllers (partial support)!”

It seems that this feature is not yet available for Genshin Impact players on Android. Even so, it is not impossible that similar support will also appear in the next update.

Developer Discussion also revealed that pre-installs for the 1.3 update will be available for mobile players, which will reduce the time it takes to update the game and ensure everyone can access it when a new patch becomes available. This is good news considering that there will be a lot of Travelers trying to play this game on launch day.

There are eight questions overall in the Developer Discussion, which also addresses balance issues regarding the game and further updates in the future. Previously, in the update 1.2 December 23, 2021, a number of changes were presented in Genshin Impact. Includes two new characters Albedo and Ganyu.
