Three Former Loops Esports Players Sentenced to 6 Months Banned

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – The trio of former Loops Esports players, Kauan “Federal” Milagres, Bryan “Gxlden” Lima and Caio “Caiowski” Caldatto were suspended from playing in competitive PUBG Mobile matches for unsportsmanlike behavior at the 2021 PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) event. each has been banned for six months and will not be able to play any PUBG Mobile competitions until July 10, 2021.

Quoted from Talkesports, the ban came just days after the three were reported to be reuniting at Brazilian professional club, Influence Rage Esports. Of course, with the punishment, the continuation of Influence Rage also becomes unclear. The ban also did not get a positive response from the PUBG Mobile community, who questioned the timing of the ban.

Just a reminder, at the PMGC 2021 event, the three players along with Lucas “Carrilho” Miguel were considered to have acted unsportsmanlike after refusing to fight and seemed to give their opponent, Team Queso points easily. Controversy continued as they fought RRQ Athena. Caiowski, Gxlden, and Federal separated from Carrilho and entered the Church on the Erangel map, where they stood still doing nothing.

Players from RRQ Athena saw them and got three easy kills without a fight. While one Loops player, Carrilho did not join his other teammates and played a normal game. As a result, this “weird scenario” received the spotlight from PUBGM TV BR.

The players later explained that they chose to take the controversial move in protest of the Loops decision to remove their captain, Michael “Dadin” Barbosa a few days before the start of the PMGC. Carrilho escaped punishment for not following his teammates’ protests. Carrilho was recently reported to have joined a new team, Alpha 7 Esports.
