There is a Pet System in Genshin Impact, what is its function?

In the upcoming 1.2 update in addition to the various features that have been previously informed. There is another feature that will be present, namely the Pet system.

In addition to being with Paimon, players in the latest update will be able to travel with “Mini Seelie” a pet that you can take on adventures.

Seelie, or “green ghost creature”, is all over Teyvat. When approached, the player must follow the seelie back to the “Seelie Garden” (small statue), where the seelie will give away the treasure.

For now, seelie exists in only one breed in all of Genshin Impact.

But later in the 1.2 version update, there will be several new types that you can see and have.

More specifically, to get this pet, you must participate in a treasure event called “Lost Riches”. This event gives players the opportunity to make friends and have their own little seelie.

Of the three types available namely blue, red and green, Players can only have one of the three Mini Seelie as shown in the image below.

For the new function, there is a little leak that this Mini Seelie can help players find iron coins, iron coins are a kind of currency that can be exchanged in the Dragonspine region later.

That’s roughly the function of the Pet in Genshin Impact. Maybe in the future there will be more unique skills or uses in the big update that will be coming December 23, 2021.
