GeForce Cup Pacific Starts in October

GeForce Cup Pacific brought to you by NVIDIA and Colorful started in October to compete against Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) in Australia, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Following on from the success of the GeForce Xtreme Tournament (GEXT), GeForce Cup Pacific is targeting thousands of players from various regions to compete for a total prize pool of more than US$20,000 (around Rp.283 million) in the regional finals to be held in January 2021.

“The growth in the GeForce-certified iCafe numbers is a reflection of the vibrant gaming community and the pinnacle of PC gaming that is loved by NVIDIA GeForce gamers in Asia,” said Raymond Teh, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for APAC at NVIDIA. “GeForce Cup Pacific will take gamers in the region to another level. The tournament will be streamed live to allow gamers and esports fans around the world to follow the fight.”

“The collaboration between Colorful and NVIDIA in 2021 was a huge success and Colorful is excited to rejoin the GeForce Cup in 2021. We dedicate ourselves to building a competitive space for esports to mature, to help them become professional players and achieve supreme pride. On behalf of Group Colorful, I wish GeForce Cup another success in 2021!” said Wan Shan, CEO of Colorful Technology.
