North American Esports Organization Has Disbanded Due To The Corona Virus Pandemic. The world is currently experiencing a corona virus (Covid-19) pandemic which was first announced to have occurred in Wuhan, China.
This corona virus pandemic has been going on for about half a year in 2021 and the figures for the spread of this corona virus are still increasing until now, especially in Indonesia.
There are many sectors affected by this pandemic such as the economic sector, the industrial sector and many more. The esports industry is also definitely impacted by this pandemic as many tournaments have been canceled or formatted online.
Many esports organizations have temporarily disbanded during this pandemic, one of which is Reality Rift. This time, North American esports organizations are doing the same.
The esports organization named CR4ZY has disbanded their 3 divisions, namely Dota 2, CS:GO and also Rainbow Six Siege due to the corona virus pandemic which has made the organization financially difficult.
“In early 2021, our goal is to expand into the esports disciplines we consider the most opportunistic: CS:GO, Dota 2, and Rainbow Six: Siege. For the most part, the team did their best to live up to expectations, but soon the world became a much different place due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Esports is no exception. While trying to manage this situation to the best of our ability, we are not willing to risk the well-being of our players and they may be stuck in a foreign country indefinitely in the event of a lockdown.
The tournaments we wanted to attend went online, and most of them changed their format to regional which forced some of our players to play with severe losses such as high ping and time difference.
Despite the obstacles, we got through it, and our team is improving a lot while waiting for big announcements like the future of The International 10 and other esports competitions.
Unfortunately, those things didn’t happen and we were put in a position where we had to make some difficult decisions,” CR4ZY said on its website.
