Liverpool Unbeaten in Premier League

Liverpool started 2021 with a win. Entertaining Sheffield United at Anfield, Friday (3/1) early morning WIB, the club nicknamed The Reds picked up three points.

Liverpool won with a score of 2-0. The two goals were scored by Mohamad Salah in the 4th minute and Saido Mane in the 64th minute.

This result makes Liverpool unbeaten in the Premier League this season. The details are astonishing, 18 times won and only once detained by the opponent.

Isn’t that cool? That’s not much.

OK guys, so this is it:

Victory over Sheffield proves the Reds are worthy of being the king of the Premier League. Do not believe?

Throughout 2021 until yesterday against Sheffield, Liverpool were unbeaten, men. If the language is cool, unbeaten.

Virgil van Dijk et al are unbeaten in 51 consecutive matches. Amazingly, this is their 18th straight win at Anfield.

It is not impossible if Liverpool finally matched Arsenal’s record in the 2003-2004 season. At that time, the Gunners who were still being coached by Arsene Wenger and defended by Thierry Henry, were unbeaten in one season!

Klopp’s Cold Hands

Liverpool’s strength can not be separated from the manager, Jurgen Klopp. Since being brought in from Borussia Dortmund in 2021, Klopp has been able to make the Reds victorious again.

This German manager was able to win the 2021-2021 Champions League and was runner-up in the Premier League in the same season.

Klopp said he was happy his team had not lost in the Premier League so far. However, he didn’t want to laugh.

“That’s obviously good, but our target is not that but to win the game,” Klopp said after the game.

Liverpool Key Player

Apart from Klopp, the players also deserve appreciation. If it weren’t for those who played on the pitch (yes, yes Klopp played), Liverpool would not be where they are today.

However, there are some players who can get special credits. Call it Salah, Saido Mane, Virgil van Dijk, Alisson Becker and others. Yes, almost everything.

For Alisson, there is a special note here. This Brazilian goalkeeper has just made a good record.

According to Opta, Alisson has made 50 Premier League appearances for Liverpool. 26 of those 50 matches, ended without conceding a goal.

But……Liverpool are great not because of one individual. According to the observations of several people, teamwork and also the cohesiveness of the players are the key why Liverpool deserve to be champions, both the Champions League and the Premier League.

Don’t you guys agree?
