Icebox Map Update on Patch 1.14! Will It Be More Fun to Play?

Icebox Map Update on Patch 1.14! Will It Be More Fun to Play?

Finally Valorant and Riot Games give us an update for their newest map Icebox in patch 1.14.

Not so much has changed in patch 1.14 this but after Icebox is used in the First Strike tournament, Icebox will be made a little easier.

To make the placement of crosshairs easier across the map, Riot reduces the verticality of the Icebox (making the icebox ‘lower’). The high platform leading to where the attackers are located has been shortened and linked to the A Belt area via an incline.

Defenders now have an easier time identifying and aiming at opponents, while attackers can now walk along inclines without having to jump down.

Riot also replaced the double stack of Radianite boxes (the green ones) at site A with smaller objects. This should make attackers or defenders more secure because players don’t have to worry about enemies hiding behind them.

At site B it is also now shortened. Agents like Raze, Jett and Omen can utilize the height of the box to their advantage. While they can still climb onto it, enemies can now more easily fire at it from multiple angles, Riot said.

This patch also introduces fashion Deathmatch Snowball Fight which will last from date 15 to 29 December. Players who play in this battle will get Gun Buddy free sent at a later date.
