Had a chance to head over the hand warmer, Skylar turned out to have dreamed of becoming a footballer

Has a name inspired by a former Ukrainian footballer.

Along with increasing flight hours and playing experience at the Mobile Legends Professional League Indonesia (MPL ID) level, Schevenko “Skylar” David Tendean’s performance in Season 7 with RRQ Hoshi continues to improve.

Even though he was considered unfit to replace Lemon in RRQ Hoshi’s game, slowly but surely now Skylar is able to develop into a better player. The proof is that he has now succeeded in helping RRQ Hoshi win six consecutive wins in MPL ID Season 7.

Luckily for Skylar, he managed to get through difficult times after receiving insults from netizens at the beginning of his appearance in MPL ID Season 7. This was also inseparable from the help given by his colleagues, especially R7 and Lemon.

It is natural that Skylar had experienced difficulties because MPL ID Season 7 was his debut playing at the highest level after being appointed from their MDL team, RRQ Sena. Moreover, he has a big task to replace Lemon’s position which will not be easy for any player to carry.

With such great pressure, Skylar certainly has his own way of calming himself before playing in order to perform. One of the things that was highlighted by the camera was by heading the hand warmer ahead of the seventh week match against Genflix Aerowolf, Sunday (11/4/2021).

This looks quite strange and unusual, but interesting. After further investigation, it turned out that Skylar was indeed happy, and had even dreamed of becoming a footballer.

Moreover, he has the name Schevenko which is quite similar to the former striker of AC Milan and the Ukrainian national team in the past, Andriy Shevchenko.

“Yes, when I was about to give birth, my father watched football. When I was born, he (Shevchenko) scored goals. Because I don’t know what to name it, I just gave it a name,” said Skylar after the match.

“Since I was little, I have often played futsal. I’ve been thinking about becoming a soccer player. But maybe this (becoming a pro player in Mobile Legends) has become the way, so what can I do,” he said.

Despite everything, now Skylar has managed to make himself a professional player, even though he didn’t get it in the world of football that he once dreamed of. Maybe this is the best path that God has given him.
