Apex Legends' success is unimaginable for Respawn

Everything is unimaginable. Even in the wildest dreams.

Apex Legends reaped great success when it was launched last February. The game made by Respawn and EA immediately became a tough rival to Fortnite Battle Royale.

In fact, Apex Legends had surpassed the Fortnite record, which was able to suck in 10 million players in the span of three days since the game was released to the market! An impressive and surprising achievement.

Not only were the public amazed, Respawn also felt that Apex Legends’ achievements were beyond initial expectations.

“Apex is beyond our wildest imagination. There are some interesting issues, but we’re having a hard time keeping up with demand and serving millions of players. This half year has been very busy,” said Respawn CEO, Vince Zampella, as reported by Game Informer.

Apex Legends’ escape also forced Respawn to shift his focus a little.

“The success of Apex Legends made us focus resources on the game and caused the Titanfall project to be marginalized a bit,” Zampella added.
