Gunadarma University Wins PUBG Mobile Campus Championship 2021

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – The biggest inter-campus PUBG Mobile tournament in Indonesia has ended. Gunadarma University succeeded in subverting 15 other teams and became the best team in the Grand Final of PUBG Mobile Campus Championship 2021.

Consistent performance and good strategy were able to produce 3 winning rounds for Gunadarma University and deliver the highest gain with 187 points.

Along with the success of the grand PUBG Mobile competition, the 2021 PUBG Mobile Campus Championship also received the MURI record award as the “Most Offline eSports Competition on Campus” with 64 participating universities throughout Indonesia.

The PMCC tournament this time showed a very dynamic competition as seen from the leader of the standings who always changed in each round.

Sam Ratulangi University topped the first day standings with 93 points after their dominant performances in the 4th and 5th rounds.

Gunadarma University took second place with 84 points thanks to their good performance in the 1st and 2nd rounds. The third position is occupied by the University of Mataram with the acquisition of 82 points thanks to their consistency throughout the 1st round to the 5th round.

Despite controlling the top of the standings, the difference in points is not too far away so that all still have a chance to catch up with them on the second day.

Gunadarma University was able to take advantage of this opportunity, which was able to show fierce resistance and resulted in consecutive wins in rounds 7 and 8 so that it outperformed the top points from Sam Ratulangi University.

Consistent performance is the key to their success in obtaining additional 25 and 28 points so that their acquisition is no longer overtaken by 15 other teams.

Thus Gunadarma University became the champion of PUBG Mobile Campus Championship 2021 and was entitled to a prize of Rp. 50,000,000.

Sam Ratulangi University had to settle for taking home the second position after failing to maintain their lead on the second day.

Loss of focus and sub-optimal performance made them minimal points in the 6th, 8th, and 9th rounds.

However, Sam Ratulangi University should be proud that it managed to reach the second position with 141 points and is entitled to a prize of Rp. 25,000,000.

While in the third position is occupied by the University of Mataram with the acquisition of 130 points which is entitled to a prize of Rp. 10,000,000.

In another event, Meutia Rahmarianti Maharani from Padjadjaran University was chosen to be the 2021 PMCC Campus Ambassador and became a PUBG Mobile student representative ambassador at Universities throughout Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Sandika Hadit Prasetyo from the University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta became the Rising Caster Hunt who also accompanied the match during the 2021 PMCC Grand Final.
