GothamChess's Turn To Be Invited to Deddy Corbuzier's Podcast
GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – After reaping controversy for inviting a hobby chess player who suddenly went viral, Dadang Subur aka Dewa Kipas as a speaker on the podcast, Deddy Corbuzier now invites his opponent who was defeated by Dewa Kipas, Levy Rozman aka GothamChess to his podcast. This was revealed by Deddy Corbuzier in a video uploaded on his Instagram.
“You want it… U got it!!! tomorrow!!! gothamchess on #closethedoor,” wrote @mastercorbuzier, Wednesday (17/3/2021).
Previously, Deddy Corbuzier’s podcast with Dadang Subur had sparked a polemic. The reason is, later suspicions were revealed regarding the validity of Dewa Fan’s victory in his duel with Rozman on March 2 last.
One of them is the PB Federation of Indonesian Chess Unity (PB Percasi) which reviews the game’s graphics and the accuracy of Dewa_Kipas’ steps while playing at Chess.com. Comments also came from a female Grand Master from Indonesia, Irene Kharisma Sukandar.
Chess.com Chief Chess Officer (COO), Daniel “Danny” Rensch has also clarified the reason behind closing the Dewa Kipas account. According to Rensch, the Dewa Fan case is a case of “absolute fraud”.
Rozman himself had uploaded one of the reports in the Indonesian national media entitled “Dewa Kipas Langgar Fair Play” on his Twitter account. @GothamChess. According to Rozzman, the drama has ended because the truth has been revealed.
