GoPay MLBB Campus Championship 2021 Registration is Open

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – 2021 will be a year full of breakthroughs from Moonton, the developer and publisher of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB).

The game that won the Silver Medal for Indonesia at the SEA Games will hold several tournaments in a row in early 2021: Campus Championship and MPL Season 5.

Supported by GoPay, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Campus Championship (GoPay MLCC) will be the first official amateur tournament held by MLBB specifically for students in Indonesia.

Visiting 10 major cities in Indonesia: Greater Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Bali, Medan, Palembang, Pontianak, and Makassar, GoPay MLCC will hold open offline qualifiers at 32 selected universities which can be viewed at bit.ly/GOPAYMLCC2021.

Aswin Atonie, Brand Director of Moonton Indonesia, stated that his party had prepared no less than Rp350 million as a total prize for GOPAY MLCC.

“MLCC is an amateur tournament made professionally, we will ensure all elements are similar to professional level tournaments,” said Aswin.

Not only that, eight Professional Mobile Legends eSport teams who are members of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) franchise are getting ready to do talent scouting during GoPay MLCC.

“They (Pro team) will definitely pay attention. So it is possible for GoPay MLCC participants who have the potential to get a contract opportunity from an existing pro team,” said Aswin.

Furthermore, Aswin also stated that GoPay MLCC will be more than just an amateur tournament in general. In addition to the tournament, GoPay MLCC will also present a Best Supporter competition for creative students and a Shoutcaster competition to find quality eSport commentators.

“We created GoPay MLCC with a mission: to introduce the game and eSports industry in the higher education scene in Indonesia. We want students to understand what opportunities lie waiting in the gaming industry. It takes a lot of people with marketing, management, broadcasting, event organizing, and many more skills.
