Gen.G roster disbanded, BnTeT wants to continue career in North America or Europe

Certainly not interested in moving to Valorant.

One of the Indonesian Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) players, Hansel “BnTeT” Ferdinand, has now officially become a player with free agent status after he and his teammates were released by Gen.G who decided to disband his roster.

This news is certainly very surprising, considering that the CS: GO Gen.G roster actually has great prospects and potential. In the past year, they have won two prestigious events, namely DreamHack Open Anaheim 2021 and ESL One: Road to Rio – North America.

In addition, they have also been runners-up at cs_summit 6 Online: North America and ranked fourth in BLAST Premier: Spring 2021 American Showdown.

However, Gen.G’s performance lately has been declining drastically, especially after being left by Damian “daps” Steele and Sam “s0m” Oh who switched to Valorant. As a result, they failed to speak much in the last three S-Tier tournaments, namely ESL One: Cologne 2021 Online – North America, ESL Pro League Season 12: North America, and Flashpoint Season 2.

It is likely that the decline in performance that Gen.G has experienced in the last five months has made the organization’s management decide to disband the team to form a new one.

However, the career must continue. BnTeT will certainly look for a new organization as a place to take shelter and continue its career in the world CS:GO scene.

Regarding this, BnTeT admits that he will not follow in the footsteps of daps and s0m to Valorant because he still loves CS:GO. In addition, in a tweet on his personal Twitter account, he claimed to want to continue his career in the CS: GO scene in North America (NA) or explore Europe (EU).

“Hi all. As I already said that Gen.G has allowed me to look for other options. I am willing to stay in EU/NA to pursue my dreams and am open to any CS:GO offers. Feel free to message me via DM or email bntet@prodigy-agency.gg,” wrote BnTeT.

With all the experience and proven abilities that BnTeT has shown so far, it is likely that it will not be difficult for him to find a new team. We certainly only wish the best for the future and career of BnTeT.
