Free Fire Wins Esports Mobile Game of the Year Award 2021

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – The Esports Award 2021 awarded Free Fire as the best mobile game of 2021. For the first time in the history of the Esports Awards the mobile category was brought in, and this battle royale game from Garena came out as the first winner.

Quoting from a tweet from the official Esports Awards account on the Twitter account @esportsawards, Free Fire successfully beat other major mobile games that were nominated, namely PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends, Call of Duty: Mobile, Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars, Clash Royale, and Arena of Valor. After receiving this award, the team from Garena has expressed its gratitude to the FF community from all over the world.

“From Indonesia, India and Asia to Brazil and Latin America, thank you very much for supporting us, voting for us, and making Free Fire a very competitive esports game.”

According to a report from Sensor Tower, in the first quarter of 2021 Free Fire was downloaded more than 225 million times worldwide. One of the reasons why FF is so popular among smartphone users is because this game can almost be played on all smartphone devices, from the fastest to potato phones.

Free Fire also offers fast-paced gameplay, and although there are some additional skins or characters that players have to buy, the prices are still reasonable. Not to mention that FF itself often gives giveaways through redeem codes.
