EXGCon 2021: Where Gamers Meet the Game Industry
GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – EXGCon will bring a breath of fresh air to the gaming industry in Indonesia this December. EXGCon will become a forum for interaction between game industry players with consumers. Yep, you gamers!
At this event, you will meet game industry stake holders ranging from game publishers, pro players, casters, cosplayers, and Indonesian musicians. Alex Wijaya as Business Director of Famous All Star said that this event is dedicated to game lovers to enjoy and have fun enjoying the content provided.
“Game events in Indonesia are still dominated by eSports tournaments. This event will really focus on the fan event. Where the organizers will gather stakeholders from the game industry so that they can really engage with their users. EXGCon will be a place for fans to enjoy the game world,” said Alex Wijaya at the EXGCon press conference today (5/11/2021).
EXGCon will be held for 3 days from December 13 to 15, 2021 at Kartika Expo Center, Jakarta. EXGCon will collaborate with more than fifty more well-known global and local gaming industry players. The game industry players will later provide interesting content and experiences to the visitors who attend. Wijaya Nugroho as Business Development of Garena Indonesia said that Garena will present various interesting content for visitors.
“Garena will be bringing Call of Duty Mobile at EXGCon. At the event, Garena will present various activities such as experience zones, free merchandise distribution and even the final game of the Call of Duty Mobile Major tournament, “said Wijaya Nugroho.
Besides Garena, AKG Games also enlivened the EXGCon event where they will bring Experience Zones from Blizzard Entertainment such as Hearthstone and Overwatch. Visitors also have the opportunity to win official merchandise and special door prizes from Blizzard Entertainment.
It doesn’t stop there, EXGCon will also hold an Indonesia Gaming Award event which is a form of EXGCon’s appreciation for the game industry players. More than 55 nominees will compete for 11 award categories.
“The gaming industry in Indonesia is very developed. everyone is vying to get into the gaming industry. Indonesia does not yet have a forum that appreciates these people. With this award event, we hope that more people will want to be creative in this industry,” said Alex Wijaya. (FA)
