Cheat Problem Again, 3 Pakistan Teams Disqualified from PUBG Mobile Challenge 2021
GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – The PUBG Mobile Pakistan Challenge (PMPC) 2021 Grand Final did not go as smoothly as expected. According to information from the editors of Liquipedia Memphiz, 3 teams have been disqualified from the Grand Final. As reported by TalkEsport, GOD Speed and SINISTERS were banned for cheating after Day 1 and Day 2, while GOLD Diggers were disqualified for unprofessional behavior.
Interestingly, the GOLD Diggers were the best performing team out of the three, with this team sitting comfortably in second place before being disqualified. It remains unclear what led to the disqualification of the GOLD Diggers. The term “unprofessional behavior” includes violations from negative statements to non-compliance with rules, or the Terms of Service.
The three teams are now joined by Captains, Team Lion’s and D3LTA Esports who received a 10-year ban and were disqualified as a result of cheating. The flow of the tournament changed completely including the number of participants, where the remaining 13 teams underwent the final round. Team F4 leads the standings, followed by R3GICIDE and team Scytes. They will compete again later to win the PMPC 2021 champion.
The problem of cheating itself often occurs in neighboring India. Previously, cheating was also carried out by teams competing in the PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) in India and Pakistan, where a total of 20 teams were disqualified from the two countries.
Including I Don’t Lose (IDL), the team that had led the standings, who was disqualified from the PMCO semifinals: Pakistan. This caused the tournament to be postponed three times to check for suspicious players.
