Angry Because Cheaters and Victims of Stream Sniping, Ninja Threatens To Stop Playing Fortnite Forever

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – The name Richard Tyler Blevins or commonly known as “Ninja” is no stranger to the Fortnite gamer community. However, recently the streamer threatened to stop playing Fortnite for good, out of anger with cheaters.

He revealed this during a live stream on Twitch a few days ago. Ninja is upset that he failed to dominate the game because he was defeated by the same person in four consecutive games.

“This community, these boys, are so ridiculous. It’s not fun anymore. They just ruined the game, knowing I was online. I won’t be showing any more Fortnite games,” Ninja said.

According to him, he is now a victim of stream sniping on Fortnite. The term refers to the technique of spying on the target location of streamers who are broadcasting live broadcasts. By following the victim in the game, the perpetrator can monitor his location and movements and launch attacks when the target is easy.

It could be that they are just fad, but of course this will ruin the victim’s stream. Ninja himself admitted that he didn’t know for sure whether the person who beat him in Fortnite did stream sniping, but he was sure he had been targeted.

“Believe me, I have been playing battle royale games for almost half a decade. I also play H1Z1, PUBG, so I know very well when I fall victim to stream sniping. I can really feel it,” said Ninja explained.

A few days after issuing the threat, despite still having time to play Fortnite, Ninja did have time to switch to League o Legends and Valorant. However, it is not certain whether the threat actually materializes or not.

Ninja himself is considered an influential figure in the Epic game. Ninja is considered to have contributed to the success of Fortnite thanks to its streaming since 2021. Epic even had time to make a special skin called “Ninja” in early 2021.

Previously, Ninja had also threatened to retire from Fortnite in April 2021, because he was furious with many bugs. However, after being invited by other Fortnite streamers, Ninja returned to play the game in September 2021.
