Agricultural Esports! Stardew Valley Holds 575 Million Rupiah Esports Tournament

GAMEFINITY.ID, Purworejo – Stardew Valley is one of the most popular farming sim RPG games today. Despite presenting very complex features, this game still offers a relaxing and addictive gameplay a la Harvest Moon. However, in fact this game that seems relaxed doesn’t make it impossible to compete like a competitive esports game. Yes, the Stardew Valley esports tournament will actually exist.

Recently, Eric Barone, the creators of Stardew Valley announced the Stardew Valley Cup, a competitive tournament for Stardew Valley. In this tournament, there will be four teams competing for a total prize of $40,000 or around 575 million Rupiah.

Barone held this tournament in collaboration with Zach “Unsurpassable Z” Hartman who is also a content creator for Stardew Valley. Hartman said there will be more than 100 challenges with different points depending on the difficulty level. Each team has three hours to complete as many challenges as possible.

Each team that will take part in this tournament will consist of streamers, speedrunners and well-known content creators who are already pro at playing Stardew Valley. So it will be very, very interesting to see the veterans of Stardew Valley competing in one competition.

The tournament will be held on September 4 and will be broadcast live on the Twitch channel Elementpassable Z. Eric Barone and Zach “Unsurpassable Z” Hartman will also comment on the tournament. We’ll see who will win this agricultural esports tournament. For those of you who are interested in playing Stardew Valley, this game is available on PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One and mobile.
