After Release on Next-Gen Consoles, Crash Bandicoot 4 Releases on PC March 26

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Activision has confirmed that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will be released for PC via Battle.net on March 26. As revealed in the latest trailer, the game will arrive on PC two weeks after the release of PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on Friday (12/3/2021).

According to Nintendo Life, the Switch physical version of the game is not available in European stores as expected. Despite being available digitally via the eShop in Europe, the physical release appears to have been delayed.

Developed by Toys For Bob, Crash Bandicoot 4 was first released for PS4 and Xbox One on October 2, 2021. Players who own the game on any of the console platforms are entitled to a free upgrade to the next-gen console, as long as they are in the same console family. Save file data can also be transferred from the last generation console version to the next.

Narratively, It’s About Time is the fourth game and the sequel to the original trilogy developed by Naughty Dog and released for the PlayStation console. Crash Bandicoot 4 offers platforming gameplay developed from the original game, with some of the classic elements retained.

Crash Bandicoot 4 received a positive response from gamers and critics alike. The PS4 version of the game received a Metascore of 85 based on 95 reviews, and 83 for the Xbox One version based on 17 reviews.

Activision recently said it would provide “another fun” as part of Crash Bandicoot’s 25th anniversary celebrations this year. The mobile game Crash Bandicoot: On the Run will release on March 25.

First appeared in 1996 as a platform game for the PlayStation console, Crash Bandicoot has evolved into other genres, ranging from racing (Crash Team Racing, Crash Nitro Kart, Crash Nitro Fueled), party (Crash Bash), to beat ’em up. (Crash on the Titans). Jarret himself is optimistic that his mobile game will be well received by Crash fans, as well as other gamers.
