Two In A Row! BOOM ID Passed Starladder ImbaTV Minor Qualification with Perfect Record

The Starladder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor qualification has just completed three regions, namely Southeast Asia, North America, and CIS. Once again, BOOM ID made it through the Southeast Asia qualifiers and competed in the second Minor in a row.

BOOM ID was present in this Minor qualifier as an invited team after finishing third in the DreamLeague Season 11 qualifier last. Their opponents in this qualifier were Lotac, DeToNator, and the Tigers. On paper, they have a great chance of qualifying.

Sure enough, in qualifying with the format double elimination, BOOM ID swings effortlessly. Facing DeToNator and Lotac twice, BOOM ID has never lost one games even. That way they managed to secure the only ticket to Starladder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor.

On the other news, the Tigers who passed the open qualifiers appeared quite disappointing. Appearing with Velo temporarily replacing Mushi, the Tigers lost to Lotac and DeToNator respectively and finished as the worst team in this qualifier.

While in other regions, Gambit Esports is back in the Minor tournament after passing the CIS regional qualification. Then in North America, EternalEnvy finally returned to the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit tournament after qualifying with the Flying Penguins team.

Because they passed the Starladder ImbaTV Minor qualification, BOOM ID inevitably had to withdraw from the WESG main round because both tournaments were held on the same date, 7-10 March.
