The International 2021 Open Qualification Registration Begins

The International qualifiers will begin next week, shortly after the ongoing China Supermajor. Welcoming that, Valve announced and opened registration for open qualifications for each region.

As usual, The International 2021 qualification series will begin with open qualifications. Teams that don’t get a closed qualifying invite will have to fight with hundreds of other teams to get slots to the closed qualification. In the closed qualifiers, they can only compete for slots to The International 2021.

Not much has changed in this year’s open qualifiers. Each region will have two open qualifications. Each open qualification is carried out with the format single elimination best of one, then best of three for the semifinals and finals.

Unfortunately until this article was released there was no information regarding how many teams were entitled to qualify for the closed qualifiers.

Here are the dates as well link The International 2021 open qualification registration for the Southeast Asia region. If you want to participate, make sure you prepare time because this qualification is held during the Eid al-Fitr period.
