Safe! Two Indonesian eSport Teams Advance to Predator League 2021

Telset.id, Jakarta – Two eSport teams are finally crowned champions Indonesia Predator League 2021, and has the right to represent the country in the 2021 Asia Pacific Predator League Grand Final. The two teams are respectively BOOM Esports who won the title for Dota2, and the team Victim Rise who won for the PUBG category.

“Congratulations to BOOM Esports and Victim Rise, we are proud to announce the two winners today at the Indonesia Asia Pacific Predator League 2021 Final. We are optimistic that the eSports industry will continue to grow,” said Herbert Ang, President Director of Acer Indonesia.

This victory led the two eSport teams to continue their struggle in the 2021 Asia Pacific Predator League Grand Final which will take place in Manila, Philippines, on 22-23 February 2021.

BOOM Esports, led by Khezcute and consisting of Dreamocel, Mikoto, Fbz, and Hyde, defeated PG.BarracX in the final match of Dota 2 with a score of 4:3.

Meanwhile Victim Rise, led by C1moy along with Tantruum, Kamalz, and Chibiritt, became the PUBG champion after their hard struggle against Victim Reality in the final round which was determined through 6 matches.

Victim Rise was able to outperform Victim Reality with 91 points after achieving 3 placements and 49 kills, against Victim Reality who had not yet had a placement and 31 kills.

Each winner of the Indonesia Predator League 2021 is entitled to a prize of IDR 50 million. Meanwhile, in the Asia Pacific Grand Finals in Manila, they will compete for the total prize pool worth USD 400,000 or equivalent to around Rp 5 billion.

“We believe that these two teams will be able to give their best performance in the Grand Final in Manila and emerge victorious and bring home the Predator Shield,” continued Herbert.

The winners will also get scholarships for undergraduate education. This is a new innovation from Acer in this year’s Predator League.

These educational scholarships can be obtained by winners, ranging from rank 1 to rank 4. In collaboration with Kominfo and the Indonesian Video Game Association (AVGI), BRI Institute provides scholarships for undergraduate level lectures for the winning teams 1 to 4 of the Indonesia Predator League 2021.
