Resident Evil Village: How To Survive Lycan Attack

Your first fight occurs right after getting the knife. If you haven’t got it yet, please follow the path marked with hanging animal heads. That will take you to a building, where you’ll find a knife on a table.

When you have a knife, turn right towards the kitchen. You’ll see a curtain on the other side of the room that you can interact with. When you do, a guy will explode and shoot a shotgun into the air.

The shot doesn’t harm you, but instead summons ferocious Lycans from Resident Evil Village. Get ready to fight them.

After that there will be a short cutscene where the man will give you a Handgun. Well, this is where your position will be difficult because the Lycans will attack and pull you into a dungeon filled with corpses.

Getting close to nearby corpses will cause Lycan to grab you and bite off a few fingers before throwing you into a small yard. The fight will start when you start to wake up.

Easy Tips for Killing Lycans in Resident Evil Village

This is your first fight against a Lycan, and you only have 20 pistol rounds which should be enough to kill one Lycan.

To kill a Lycan, you have to aim for the head area. Shots to the head in succession should kill one Lycan. Aim right before the Lycan attacks you, because this one monster is a very agile enemy.

If a Lycan comes and attacks, make sure to keep your distance so it’s easier for you to hit the head, so the Lycan will retreat after attacking you.

If you are hit by an attack and get a fairly severe wound, even very severe. Use the first aid medicine you find earlier in the game to heal wounds.

There’s no rush to fight Lycans, even though they’re intense, but it’s a great opportunity to learn more about Lycans.

Watch their agile movements and analyze how they will slowly back away from you. The most important thing is to keep your distance if the Lycan runs and attacks you.
