PUBG Celebrates 400 Million Players With 33% Off until 5 July
Today PUBG Corp. announced their incredible new record for the pioneering Battle Royale game, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) which has sold over 50 million copies on PC and Xbox One worldwide, has reached 400 million players across all platforms, and for for the first time since the release of March 2021 PUBG is now at a 33% discount on Steam until July 5, 2021.
The normal price for PUBG games on Steam is Rp. 199,999, now after being discounted by 33% to Rp. 133,999. If you don’t have this one game, maybe now is the time to buy it, especially just for Eid, you will definitely get a lot of money.

On the Steamcommunity page, PUBG Corp. also added that more than 227 million people around the world play this game every month, and 87 million players play it every day. With the total number of players reaching 400 million players across all platforms, this means that around 350 million players are playing on mobile devices. PUBG is now available on Android and iOS and even free to play, thanks to Tencent Games.
From the Wikipedia report, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds got the sixth position on the list of “List of best-selling video games” with 50 Million Copy. In position 1 is still held by Tetris with 170 million copies, the second position is Minecraft 144 million copies and the third position is Grand Theft Auto V or GTA 5 with 95 million copies, and has generated more than 82 trillion rupiah.
PUBG’s prestige is indeed declining, if you look at the statistics of PUBG players via Steamcharts.com the number of PUBG players from February 2021 until now is starting to decline. Continue to add to getting poor Steam feedback because of bug problems, rampant cheaters, and rivals who are starting to attract players to move to Fortnite. But hopefully with the discount of this game, new maps, new weapons, bug fixes, gameplay updates that are being promised in my explanation below the pubg player count will start to get new players and attract old players to play it again.
At the end of the post steamcommunity added “We will continue to work on new content and improvements for all versions of the game. We know there’s still a lot we can do to make PUBG a better game for our players.”

Plus the accuracy modifier will no longer be instantaneous, meaning you have to aim perfectly first to get full accuracy. No less cool, the winner will also get a few extra seconds to celebrate their Chicken Dinners before the game ends. You can read more details about PC 1.0 Update #15 here.
