PGL Announces The Bucharest Major, Qualifiers In January

In addition to the Minor which was held a few months ago, PGL also scheduled a Major tournament Dota 2 on their calendar, in March to be exact. However, even though it is still three months away, they will soon announce their Major tournament, namely The Bucharest Major. Not only tournament announcements, they also announced invited teams and open qualifying registrations.

There are 16 teams that will compete in this Major tournament. Of the 16, 10 of them were directly invited teams. While the remaining six are qualifying teams from six separate regions.

Until this news was published, PGL had announced six invited teams, namely Mineski, Team Liquid, Newbee, Evil Geniuses (EG), and Natus Vincere (Na’Vi).

PGL has not announced the closed qualification date in each region. But they have announced the date and registration of qualifications is open to all regions except China which does have one server alone.
