New World, Amazon Games' Newest MMORPG Game Postponed Again

PC gamers have been waiting for a new MMORPG game for a long time. The reason is, the last few years the MMORPG genre game is only dominated for mobile devices.

This is certainly not satisfied for some gamers that the genre is still dominated by games that have been around for a long time since nine years ago.

Some problems such as funds and a long time to develop MMORPG games seem to be a reason for developers why the genre is so minimal.

Nonetheless, some developers like Amazon Game and Bandai Namco Online are trying to bounce back with the technology used in AAA games today.

Some game titles such as Lost Ark, New World, and Blue Protocol, only New World is the closest to a global version release.

This game from developer Amazon Games invites players to enjoy a world with a number of fantasy themes wrapped in stunning visuals thanks to the Lumberyard Engine.

Previously, Amazon Games had announced that the game would be released in 2021, but was pushed back to spring 2021. Unfortunately, the developer has recently announced again regarding the delay.

They postponed the release of New World until August 31, 2021, or sometime in the summer of 2021. They also added that the end-game content is currently unfinished and spring is not the right time to release it.

While waiting for the release date, Amazon Games is still opening up opportunities for players who want to try the game via alpha by accessing the European server on March 30, 2021.

As for the closed beta, it will start on July 20, 2021. For those of you who have pre-ordered New World on Steam or Amazon, you can certainly enjoy the game when the closed beta begins.

Until this article is published, New World is planned to be released on August 31 exclusively for the PC platform.
