Mineski DotA 2 Becomes DAC Champion 2021
The major event for the MOBA DotA 2 Valve Circuit game, titled DotA 2 Asia Championships (DAC) 2021 has just ended. The DAC 2021 champion has been obtained, namely the Mineski team that was able to beat the other finalists from the 2021 DAC Grand Final, LGD Gaming.

DotA 2 Asia Championships 2021 contains 16 participants with the initial tournament format in the form of groups divided into groups A and B and continued with the playoff format. In the upper bracket round 1 LGD won 2-0 over EG, Virtus Pro lost 0-2 against Team Liquid, Mineski won 2-0 against OpTic Gaming, and TNC Pro lost 1-2 against Vici Gaming. LGD, Team Liquid, Mineski, and Vici Gaming are entitled to the Upper Bracket round 2. EG, Virtus Pro, OpTic Gaming, and TNC Pro competed in the Lower Bracket round 1.
In the Lower Bracket round 1, the DotA 2 team Virtus Pro won 1-0 over EG, and TNC Pro won 1-0 over OpTic Gaming. Virtus Pro and TNC advanced to the Lower Bracket round 2. EG and OpTic Gaming were eliminated from the competition. Upper Bracket round 2 pitted LGD against Team Liquid and Mineski against Vici Gaming. Team Liquid had to admit the superiority of LGD’s strategy and had to give up with a score of 1-2. Meanwhile Mineski also managed to beat VG with the same score 2-1. The victory brought Mineski and LGD to compete in the Upper Bracket final. Meanwhile, VG and Team Liquid had to be willing to compete in the Lower Bracket round 2.
In the Lower Bracket round 2, Virtus Pro managed to defeat Vici Gaming, and TNC defeated Team Liquid with a score of 1-0. Team Liquid and VG were eliminated from the event. The DAC Grand Final ended with a score of 3-2 which made Mineski the DAC 2021 champion. In the first match, LGD won easily over Mineski with a combo of Slardar, Tiny, Phantom Assassin and Ancient Apparition. In the second match, Mineski won by relying on IceIce who played Magnus. The third game was won by LGD, which relied on the good game of Kunkka and Clockwerk.
Mineski tried hard to become the DAC 2021 champion by forcing to play the fifth game. His efforts were not in vain because Mineski managed to win the fourth game. In the fourth match, Mineski managed to stop the selection of Slardar by LGD who wanted to repeat the hero combo from the first match. The issue of the Tiny, PA, and AA combo was also successfully suppressed through Luna’s brilliant game.
In the fifth match, Naga Siren from Mineski really gave extraordinary support because it was able to reduce LGD’s attacks which were based on Leshrac, Anti Mage, and Underlord. Mineski finally won the DotA 2 Pro Valve Circuit major event title. By becoming the DAC 2021 champion, Mineski is entitled to 370 thousand dollars and 750 DPC.
