Stop Motion Feature For Insta Stories
After releasing the Supezoom feature on Halloween for Insta Stories, Instagram is reportedly testing another new feature for Insta Stories, namely Stop Motion! The Stop Motion technique is very popular among photography lovers. With Stop Motion, photos can look more dynamic and cool.
This feature will reportedly allow Instagram users to take a number of photos which will then be assembled by Instagram into animated GIFs to be posted on users’ Insta Stories. Instagram has also confirmed that it is testing this new feature.
Quoted from the detikINET page for the Stop Motion feature, users will not be able to edit the photos taken into Stop Motion. Users can add text, stickers and more after they finish taking photos and press the ‘Done’ button.
There is no further information when this feature will be available for Instagram users and there is also no guarantee if this Instagram feature will be available globally or only for certain areas. The development of these new features is Instagram’s effort to pamper its users so that they are more comfortable to linger on this photo-sharing application.
In fact, it can be said that many of the features in Instagram’s Insta Stories cheat on the features found on Snapchat. For example, the Boomerang feature is very popular among Instagram users. Then proceed with the Instagram face filter feature with a variety of funny frames, then there is also the Superzoom feature and the last one is Stop Motion which is being developed.
