1. On features Search Windows 10, type and search Turn Windows Features on or off. After that, click Turn Windows features on or off as indicated by the arrow in the image below.
2. On the window Windows Features, tick Windows Subsystem for Linux as indicated by the arrows in the image below. Then, click OK.
3. After that, open Command Prompt by searching Command Prompt in features Search Windows then right click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
4. Install bash Ubuntu on Command Prompt by typing lxrun /install like in the picture below.
5. When the command appears Type “y” to continue then type the letters y like in the picture below. And wait until the process is complete.
6. Then, enter your username on Enter new UNIX username and password on Enter new UNIX password like in the picture below.
7. Finally, re-enter your password on Retype new UNIX password. Well, installation Bash on Windows (BoW) finally finished.
8. After that, type bash on the box Search Windows 10, then click Bash on Ubuntu on Windows as indicated by the arrows in the image below.

11. If you want to log in as root, just like in Linux type the command sudo su then enter your password and you are successfully logged in as root.
