GESC Indonesia Dota 2 Minor Qualification Coming Soon

2021 is a year of victory for lovers of MOBA DotA 2 games in Indonesia. After a long time not being looked at as the organizer of Valve’s official international tournament, finally in 2021, Indonesia became the organizer of one of Valve’s official minor tournaments. There is also the name is GESC Indonesia Dota 2 Minor.

GESC Indonesia Dota 2 Minor

The GESC Indonesia Dota 2 Minor international tournament is the largest DotA 2 esports event in Indonesia. Through this eSports tournament, your team can seize the opportunity to compete in the official DotA 2 event and face the world’s best teams via the Indonesia Wild Card Qualifiers.

The Indonesia Wild Card Qualifiers are also open to all DotA 2 teams from Indonesia. A team is said to be from Indonesia, if the list of members consists of at least 3 players who are Indonesian citizens or Indonesian citizens for short. Later, the top four teams in this qualifier will face 4 Indonesian teams who get invited. The teams, namely: EVOS Esport, BOOM ID, Rex Regum Qeon, and The Prime NND.

The venue for the Indonesia Wild Card Qualifiers itself will be located at FACEIT: The initial date for this qualifying match is February 20-21 2021. The schedule for the top 8 teams from the Indonesia Wild Card Qualifiers will be held on: February 22-25 2021.

The winner of this qualification will be able to play in GESC Indonesia Dota 2 Minor which will be held in BSD City. The date for the match is March 15-18 2021. The biggest DotA 2 championship in Indonesia, will be covered by the media.

An important note from the organizers is that participants must ensure that there is only one registrant for each DotA 2 team. After your team is successfully registered, you and your team will be given an invitation link to FACEIT before the qualifying event begins.

Qualification Registration

The Indonesian DotA 2 team is now able to register in order to advance to compete in the qualifications for the GESC Indonesia Dota 2 Minor. The local Indonesian team has been awarded an honor regarding the match against the big team DotA 2 in an official Valve tournament event entitled GESC Indonesia Dota 2 Minor.

The total prize pool provided in this tournament is $300,000. The prize of $300,000 is the biggest prize for a DotA 2 event held in Indonesia so far. Because of the prizes and the teams that compete in them, making GESC Indonesia Dota 2 Minor the most prestigious sports tournament in Indonesia.

The only direct invitation to compete in GESC Indonesia Dota 2 Minor was given to Evil Genius. The team has also confirmed their participation. There will be a total of eight teams that will compete in GESC Indonesia Dota 2 Minor. In addition to one direct invitation, six teams will come from qualifiers from various regions of the world and one qualifying team from Indonesia.
