Game Review: Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor
If you diligently follow the film series from The Lord Of The Ring to The Hobbit or even you are a fan of the series above, then you must play this one game, Middle Earth: Shadow Of Mordor.
The game, which is set about a time between The Hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings, tells the story of Talion, a warrior from Gondor who lost his wife and children who were brutally murdered by the orcs. Talion will take revenge and go to Mordor to eradicate the orcs who killed his family.
This game also presents the origin story of the creation of the rings in The Lord Of The Rings made by Celembribor, a powerful elf who is skilled at making heirlooms. Celebrity itself turned out to have been tricked by Sauron to make the rings earlier.
Gameplay
This game is an open-world action-RPG game set in Mordor just as Sauron returns there to form an army. This game is very unique because it is equipped with a feature, namely revenge-system where if we are killed by an orc, then we will be able to take revenge against the orc and get a bigger bounty. On the other hand, the Orc will also be promoted to rank for successfully killing your character.
The upgrade system in this game is also very easy because you just need to collect EXP points and skills to unlock Talion’s skills and collect runes to strengthen weapons.
In Shadow of Mordor you can use two fighting styles, the first is to fight frontally and the second is stealth. Actually there is one more that is remotely when you use the arrow skill of your friend, Celebrimbor.
Graphics
In terms of graphics, we think Shadow of Mordor is able to provide excellent quality and detail even though it has not been able to match Dragon Age: Inquisition if we saw the demo of Dragon Age: Inquisition.
The graphic effects provided by this game are quite entertaining for us, for example, you will be given a cut-scene if you meet an orc captain or an orc who has killed you.
