Dota Underlords Guide: Assassin Lineup

Same as auto battler game others, the Assassin troops in Dota Underlords known as burst damage they are fast and very lethal. They can instantly kill opposing units in the backline in just five seconds when the PvP round begins. This automatically gives you an edge in PvP.

Not only that, Assassin in Dota Underlords It is also relatively easy to build because it has a large selection of units. That way you can get power spike faster than usual. As a replacement lineup this has potential late game which is quite limited so it is often difficult to win the match.

Excess

  • Damage which is huge thanks to the synergy effect
  • Able to finish off the opponent’s backline units quickly
  • Easy to build and can step on power spike quickly

Deficiency

  • The majority of the units are sufficient squishy aka easy to die
  • Potential and options late game limited
  • Sometimes you have to worry about slots bench limited

Synergy Effect

Assassins have the following synergy effects

  • 3 Assassins: All Assassins have a 10% chance to earn critical hits by 300% of damage normal attack
  • 6 Assassins: All Assassins have a 20% chance to earn critical hits by 400% of damage normal attack
  • 9 Assassins: All Assassins have a 30% chance to earn critical hits by 500% of damage normal attack

Generally, you want to aim for the synergy of the six Assassins. Damage of the three Assassins is considered “responsible” and will be irrelevant in late game. Meanwhile the nine Assassins took up too many slots for late game.

Important Units

Because it has a synergy of nine units, Assassin has a lot of units that you can use. But generally you want to always have the following units:

  • Queen of Pain. There’s no reason not to take the Queen of Pain for lineup Assassins. Located in tier two, it can be obtained easily and can you upgrade to level three. Not only that, he also has spell AoE that can finish off opponents easily. Then because he has tags Demon, he also has damage an attack large enough to charge where quickly.
  • Slark. With tags Scaled, Slark can activate Scaled synergy if you deploy units like Tidehunter or Slardar on the front lines. Two abilities which he has is also very strong. Pounce makes one target unable to attack, while Essence Shift allows Slark to attack very quickly if the round lasts for a long time. Then because of the two ability it is passive, it can also carry the Mask of Madness
  • Phantom Assassin. Ability Phantom Assassin gave him a chance critical himself, adding to the Assassin’s synergy effect that he also obtained. This makes it very lethal, especially if given attack speed items like Mask of Madness or Moon Shard. In addition, he also brought tags Elusive which when active makes it difficult to kill by ordinary attacks from the opponent.
  • Templar Assassins. Compared to other units on this list, the Templar Assassin may not have damage output explosive. Instead he is harder to kill thanks to abilitiesthe one who can block damage. Not only that, he is also one of the units that can activate Elusive synergy.
  • Sand King. Of all the Assassins, the Sand King is the only unit that has stun. This makes it enough valuable in lineup Assassins who don’t have hard disable at all. Not only that, it also helps activate tags Beasts.

Of course, you can’t get all five of these units at once. Plus you also need one more unit to activate six Assassins. But don’t worry because you can still find another unit as a charger whether it’s permanent or temporary.

Bounty Hunter, Bloodseeker, and Morphling are three units that you can get early enough to fill the Assassin slot you need. You can keep all three or upgrade up to level three for late game. Even if it is desperate, you can also take the Viper although this unit is not very ideal in lineup Assassins.

Supplementary Unit

The main task of the Assassin is to jump to the back line and finish off the opposing unit, especially damage dealer in lineup like Hunter or Mage. But in order to do that without too much distraction, they needed a front line unit to distract. Otherwise all opposing units will target these Assassins as soon as the PvP round begins.

The most ideal frontline units for these Assassins are of course the Druids, or rather the two toughest Druids, the Treant Protector and the Lone Druid. The synergistic effect of the Druids makes you technically only need toupgrade one of the world’s units. That way you can focus on finding upgrade for the Assassins without having to make too big a commitment to seek upgrade these Druids.

Another alternative is three Warriors. With Kunkka and Tidehunter, you have too disable strong enough to give the Assassins time to earn damage. But the difference is to activate the Warrior synergy you need three slots. Coupled with six Assassins, you have to step on level nine which means quite a lot of Gold commitment.

You can also play with Goblins for the front line if you are not given another option. But you can only get this at mid game and before this phase you should already have tank protecting on the front lines.

Mandatory Items

Ideally, you want to take items aggressive for an Assassin squad, I don’t know damage nor attack speed. But from some items, there are several options that you must take:

  • Pocket Sand. The difference in strength between Assassins with and without Pocket Sand was significant. With Pocket Sand, you can delay where is the gain opponent for a long time. During that time, you can kill off your opponent’s important units before they can do anything.
  • Mask of Madness. Assassin is one lineup with many units that can wield the Mask of Madness. Even though it’s not attack speed items At best, Mask of Madness is much more common and easy to obtain. Other than that, items it also gives liftsteal.
  • Moon Shard. An improved version of Mask of Madness that delivers attack speed the greater one. It is just items this is quite a step so it’s rare to find.
  • Brooch of The Aggressor. Some Assassins have spell which is quite strong and it will be very helpful if you can get where quickly. One of the main targets for items this is Templar Assassin because when Refraction is active, he will not get where when receiving an attack. This means that when Refraction runs out he will lack where to reactivate Refraction.

Gameplay

Compared to core lineup another aggressive, Assassin is lineup which is quite unique because you can run it from the start of the game. Of course, you’ll want to start with the frontline units first, especially the Warriors. But while doing that, you can also collect some cheap Assassins to activate three Assassins.

While looking for upgrade for each unit, don’t miss the other Assassins you get, especially key units like Slark or Phantom Assassin. You probably wouldn’t have installed them before late game. But at least save it first so you don’t bother looking for it when you want to activate six Assassins. In addition to the Assassin unit, also pay attention to whether you get two Druid units, namely Treant Protector and Lone Druid.

Entering level six, you may already be able to play three Assassins and three frontline units, for example Warrior. If most of your units get upgrade, this initial formation should be able to take you to late game with safe.

Before entering late game, note how strong the six Assassins you have at that time. If they are strong enough and you have tank which is quite thick, you can try installing six Assassins and one tank at level seven. But if not, you can wait until level eight and install six Assassins plus two tank.

After reaching level eight, you have to make a decision on how to make the transition throughout late game. Indeed, six Assassins and two tank is lineup which is pretty solid. But even six level two Assassins wouldn’t be strong enough to win the match. You have to upgrade power level your troops to a higher point.

There are two options you can take for the transition along late game. First, you canupgrade some of your Assassin units become level three. But this decision you should be able to make even before late game especially if you get the necessary units. Slark, Queen of Pain, and Phantom Assassin level three will greatly help strengthen the strength of your troops in late game.

The second option is to look for a powerful unit as a source damage alternative or even substitute. That means you need to level up to find units late game like Medusa, Techies, or Lich. Depending on what you get, you may even have to transition out of Assassin.

Both options are necessary approach different. One requires you to often do roll, another one requires a level. Either way, both require a healthy economy throughout mid and late game. It shouldn’t be difficult if you have lineup A solid assassin, but you have to decide how you transition, either one or both.
