Dota 2 Hero Guide: How to Play Dragon Knight

Dragon Knight is a hero strength with durability or high resistance. With damage which is not bad, he can be a very strong frontline hero. Besides, it also has the ability to destroy tower fairly quickly.

This hero tends to have early game which is bad and really needs some starting levels. Therefore it is often installed in mid lane in order to gain levels quickly. Once reached mid and late game with items enough, he can be a pretty terrible hero.

1. Breathe Fire

Breathe Fire is the only one burst damage owned by the Dragon Knights. Spell you can use this to secure one or two last hits at a time. Effect damage reduction generated also makes it difficult for the opponent’s hero to take last hits.

2. Dragon Tail

Dragon Blood is spell which makes Dragon Knights very difficult to kill. In early game, Dragon Blood allows you to last longer in lane and always profit in trading. Then in late game, Dragon Blood will make you very hard to kill and allow you to stand in the middle team fight.

4. Elder Dragon Form

Dragon Knight turned into a dragon. He will get movement speed, distance cast Dragon Tail, as well as attack range addition. At each level, his attacks also gain additional attributes or effects.

Elder Dragon Form is spell the main reason you use Dragon Knight. Spell this made the Dragon Knights much stronger. It has a long range attack and additional range for Dragon Tail, making it more reliable in initiation and team fight. The higher the Elder Dragon Form’s level, the stronger the attack effect.

But apart from that the Elder Dragon Form is also a tool pushing solid. The attack effect of the Green Dragon allows Dragon Knights to destroy buildings faster. Considering he’s hard to kill, Dragon Knights are always at the forefront when pushing once he was ready to use Elder Dragon Form.

Talent Tree

• Level 25: +1.6 seconds stun Dragon Tail or x1.8 HP regeneration and armor Dragon Blood

• Level 10: -24% Breathe Fire damage reduction or +2 where is regen

Always max out Breathe Fire as fast as possible. At the beginning of the game you don’t have damage significant. Sospell this is your ultimate tool for laning as well as team fight.

In between, level up Dragon Blood. This will allow you to last longer in lane moment early game and hard to kill in mid game and also late game. Maximize Dragon Blood after you finish maxing out Breathe Fire.

Due to the relatively high regeneration of Dragon Blood, Dragon Knights don’t need much items regeneration early in the game. If you play in mid and still requires regeneration, just ask for two Tango from support you. If you play as offlane, then buy a set of Tango.

From the start of the game, you can buy Stout Shield and Quelling Blade as items main. After that you can buy a pair of Branch and Mango. Alternatively, you can buy a Gauntlet and a Branch.

Because it has high regeneration, Dragon Knight doesn’t really benefit from Bottle. To meet the needs where, you can buy Soul Rings. Apart from giving where when needed, items It also provides regeneration as well strength addition, suitable for heroes tanky like Dragon Knights.

In one-on-one conditions, Dragon Knight is a pretty strong hero in lane. He may not be able to kill or suppress his opponent in lane easily. But at least with Dragon Blood and Breathe Fire, this hero can last a long time in lane while still getting farm.

If you have support who are actively doing roaming and gank, you can take one Dragon Tail point. Do follow up stun and finish gank with Breathe Fire. On the other hand, be careful with your opponent’s movements. You will still die if your opponent does gank and have damage sufficient.

Your main goal at the start of the game is to get to level six as quickly as possible. Once you get to level six and Elder Dragon Form, pay attention to the game situation and your opponent’s movements. Ideally you want to use Elder Dragon Form first to destroy tower opponent.

If you need to rotate, move to lane else to do gank with Elder Dragon Form. If successful, convert gank it by destroying tower. If you feel you can’t help lane else, you can stay in lane you and destroy tower there.

After that your job remains the same. Do team fight with Elder Dragon Form. If it is near an objective, take it while the Elder Dragon Form is still active.

The opposing team will read this easily, and they will try to make you use Elder Dragon Form for nothing. After that they might force team fight when you don’t have Elder Dragon Form yet. In that situation, your strength is not very significant. You can, but it’s a little more difficult.
