Is it active period? Active period is the time span of using the cellular card before entering the grace period.

Well, usually the grace period for your AXIS card is up to 30 days and if you haven’t reactivated within 30 days, your AXIS card will be blocked.

However, what if your AXIS card has passed or is approaching its active period? The solution is to extend the active period of your AXIS card.

Method 1 – Replenishing Credit

By topping up your credit, you can at the same time extend your active period in accordance with applicable regulations. You can top up your AXIS card at the nearest pulse counter. The following are the terms and conditions for extending the active period according to the nominal top up.

Method 2 – Share Credit with AXIS / XL Users

In addition to buying credit, you can also extend the active period of AXIS by sharing credit with other AXIS or XL users according to the applicable regulations.

So, when you share credit with other users, your active period will automatically increase. Where, transactions can be made with a minimum credit of IDR 5,000 and the recipient can only receive credit transfers of a maximum of 20 transactions per day.

Method 3 – Purchase Internet, Call & SMS Packages

You can also extend your active period by buying internet, phone or SMS packages. This method is quite often used by AXIS users who regularly use the internet.

There are various types of internet, telephone or SMS packages offered by AXIS. The price of each package offered also varies. Choose the package that suits your needs. Generally, the active period offered is around 30 days.

How to extend the active period by purchasing internet packages, calls or SMS? In this article, I will explain how to go through AXISnet app. Pay attention to the steps below.

Open the AXISnet application that you have installed.
On AXISnet main page, select/tap menu Buy Package like in the picture below.
There are several types of internet, phone or SMS packages that you can choose from. You can see an example in the image below.
For example, I chose IRIT BRONET Internet Package. Tap/select the package you want.
Well, you will be directed to choose the BRONET package you want. Tap the button BUY if you want to buy it.

Method 4 – Purchase AXIS Active Period

In addition to the three methods above, you can try another method, namely buying an active period. There are several choices of active period that you buy.

You don’t need to top up your credit to extend the active period, you can exchange your credit for the active period. How to buy an AXIS card’s active period? Pay attention to the steps below.

Open the app Messaging on your cellphone.
Type Active in your message then send a message to 8484 as shown below.
Next, a selection of active periods will automatically appear that you can buy. Select the option you want and then enter your choice. Tap Send.
Wait for your request to finish processing.
If the request is successfully processed, AXIS will send an SMS containing the additional active period according to your choice.
