Contributor: Margaretta Cindy

Ragnarok is not a new game. This game was first released on PC and then this latest one is back for the mobile platform with the title Ragnarok M Eternal Love. This game gets great enthusiasm from gamers, both those who have played the PC version in the past and also from new players. For those of you who are playing Ragnarok for the first time and are confused, we have tips and tricks for you.

1. Change Job

At the beginning of the game all players must start from the Novice job, but you can change it. There are 6 jobs available, namely Swordsman, Thief, Magician, Acolyte, Archer, and Merchant. To be able to change to the job, you must carry out the main mission (!) in red. After getting the mission, you can visit Adventure HQ in Prontera. Do the mission, then you will be asked to choose one of the 6 available jobs.

2. Free Equip

At the beginning of the game, the first city you can visit is Prontera and in this city you can get free equipment and several other items. The trick is:

  1. Look for an NPC named Miu who is located under the Prontera map. You can see the map image below:
  2. Talk to Miu to pick up a package called the Growth Pack. You can claim the rewards from this Growth Pack every 10 levels. In the first 10 levels you can get Blue Potion (20), Belief Token (5), Kafra Cargo Ticket, Eternal Rock, Lightning Chain, 5000 zenny, and weapons.
  3. You can also get Pre-registration Gift which contains Elephant Gear and also B Cat Voucher II for Gacha (Fantasy Generator) on Prontera. To pick it up talk to the NPC named Tylin. The location is at the fountain in the middle of Prontera town.

3. Free Food

In Ragnarok M Eternal Love, there is also a food feature that can give different buffs for each food. Besides being able to cook for yourself, you can also claim free food every day. Visit the Food NPCs of each city to claim free food or you can also buy them.

4. Camera Features

Ragnarok M Eternal Love also presents a camera feature that you can use to capture exciting moments in the game. The photos you take can also be saved on the device you are using.

To unlock this camera feature you are only required to complete the main mission. After completing it, the camera feature will open.

To use it, you can select the Settings menu, then select the camera menu, set the camera before you take a picture.

This camera feature can also add to your experience points too. The trick, you can also collect photos of predetermined places or photos of all the monsters in each map. You can see the prizes from the photos that have been taken earlier in the Adventure Handbook feature.

5. Adventure Handbook

The Adventure Handbook feature in Ragnarok M Eternal Love is a kind of journal, where all the data is here. Starting from the NPCs you meet, the monsters you see and defeat, photos of predetermined locations, lists of items that can be made (craft) and other information.

This Adventure Handbook feature can be opened after you have successfully changed the first job. After changing the job you want, later you are asked to meet an NPC named Kakaro to pick up the Adventure Handbook. Kakaro’s location is above Prontera town before the north warp of the city.

6. Time Rift

Time Rift is a daily mission that you can take every day, where in this mission you are asked to repair the damaged rift by defeating all the monsters that come out of the portal. This Time Rift repair mission is only available 5 times a day, so as much as possible you have to complete every day. Every time you complete a Time Rift mission, you can get experience points, equipment and items for crafting.

To take this Time Rift mission you must have a base level of 15 then talk to the Rift Monitor NPC and select the available Time Rift location. It is highly recommended to complete this Time Rift by forming a party.

7. Monster Resistance

Similar to Time Rift, Monster Resistance is a daily mission that you can take. The Monster Resistance mission is the source of your experience points because for each monster you defeat when this mission fires, the experience point of the monster will be multiplied by 10 with a predetermined total experience point.

To take on the Monster Resistance mission, all you have to do is talk to the NPC named Messenger Monster Watcher in each city.
