Garena Holds the League of Legends Indonesia Championship with a Total Prize of IDR 200 Million

Garena is back preparing events competition League of Legendss after the success of LGS Season 6 and LGS Summer, entitled League of Legends Indonesia Championship (LIC). Please note that LIC is a name change from League of Legends Garena Championship (LGC).

Even though there is a name change, in terms of the concept and purpose of the tournament, it remains the same, namely to find new players League of Legends the best from all over the region in Indonesia.

Garena awarded a total cash prize of IDR 200 million for the LGC competition and in this tournament there will be three preliminary rounds, namely:

Local qualifying round (takes place 16-18 September 2021)
Regional qualifying round (takes place 24-25 September 2021)
Half grand final (takes place in mid-October 2021)

The first qualifying round will be held in 6 different regions which are grouped into 2 regions. 2 The regional groups, namely the Java region (including Jabodetabek) and regions outside the island of Java, namely Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Papua, Bali, and West Nusa Tenggara.

Teams that successfully qualify for the preliminary round for the Java and outside Java regions will be invited to Jakarta to face the top two teams of LGS Summer 2021: LGS Summer (Kanaya Gaming & Revival Esports) and the first winner of Glorious Arena April (Kamikaze) and the first winner of Glorious June arena.

Teams that qualify in the preliminary round for the Java region and outside Java will be invited to Jakarta to take part in the grand final. They will compete for the title against the top two teams at LGS Summer 2021: Kanaya Gaming and Revival e-Sports as well as the two winning teams of the Glorious Arena tournament in April and June 2021.
