Windows 11 Will Be Released On October 5th

GAMEFINITY.ID, Purworejo – Microsoft finally announce that Windows 11 will be released on October 5th. Windows 11 will be available as a free upgrade for PC with Windows 10 that have met the requirements of the specified specifications. In addition, PCs and laptops with Windows 11 pre-installed will also be available on that date.

Even though it will be released on October 5, but you don’t necessarily get a free upgrade on that day. Microsoft said that this update will be carried out in stages where it will prioritize new devices first. Then supported devices will start getting updates until at the latest until mid-2022.

Undeniably, Windows 11 does provide features such as DirectX12 Ultimate, DirectStorage and Auto HDR which can certainly improve your gaming experience. Unfortunately, there is one feature that will not be available at the time of the release date, namely the Android app support feature. This feature will be available on Windows Insiders first in the next few months, so it’s likely to be available to all users next year.

Recently, Microsoft has also updated the list of processors compatible with Windows 11 which one can you check here. If your processor is not compatible, you can still install Windows 11 through the ISO to be available. However, it is likely that your PC will not get updates in the future. But if you don’t want to upgrade to Windows 11, Microsoft will still continue support Windows 10 until October 14, 2025.
