Want to Fix Toxic, Riot Removes 'All Chat' Feature on Patch 11.21 League of Legends

GAMEFINITY.ID, PALEMBANG – Game developer League of Legends (LoL), Riot Games, still trying to reduce behavior toxic in their game. Start patches 11.21, Riot will remove features chat to the opposing team or what is known as chat /all.

according to post which Riot uploaded on blog them, features chat /all which serves as socialization between teams is now more negative than positive impact. With this feature temporarily removed, Riot will wait feedback from the player.

The only communication between teams in the game is emotes, except at the end of the game where features team-to-team chat will be accessible. Players can still communicate with team members, but this can be a problem in itself.

On the other hand, many players expressed that this decision is not significant, considering most of the behavior toxic it comes from the team itself.

“95% of toxic behavior usually comes from team chat, right? Eliminating /all doesn’t really mean much to me,” write user Reddit Own-Iron-207.

“60%-70% of my friend list is actually filled with people who play neatly in /all chat, and 70%+ toxic behavior comes from team chat,” said Lord_Dust_Bunny.

Riot itself recognizes that behavior toxic can also come from team chat, but according to them communication with the team is the key in LoL so they will not lose this feature.

Even with features Honor System which punishes the player toxic, unpleasant behavior is still very much in the game. Is disappearance /all chat can remove the negative behavior in LoL? What do you think?
