Victim Celebrates MDL Victory by Sharing in the Midst of a Pandemic
GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – The MDL (Mobile Legends Development League) event has indeed passed, but Victim Esports who came out as the champion is still celebrating the victory. Unlike other celebrations, Victim Esports decided to run a CSR program in the midst of the Corona pandemic. Victim Esports’ CSR program was realized by distributing 25 tons of rice to underprivileged families at a number of points spread across Jakarta and Tangerang.
Actually, the intention to run a CSR program has been there for a long time. Even before Victim Esports succeeded in overthrowing Recca Esports in the MDL Season 1 grand final, but due to the Corona pandemic, the management of Victim Esports finally decided to run the CSR program today (7 May 2021). Which coincidentally also coincides with Vesak Day.
The distribution of the aid in the form of rice was carried out directly by Victim Esports, assisted by local officials who were responsible for distribution points.
“This is actually our program for fans or fans. Because our fans come from many groups, so it is possible for some to be affected by the Covid-19 outbreak. In fact, all business activities and buying and selling are currently experiencing a slowdown. Automatically, the slowdown will also affect job opportunities and income. We try to help lighten their load. Starting from the basic needs first in the form of rice for consumption.” said Rickel Albert Effendy as General Manager of Victim Esports.
“Our prayers are probably the same as the prayers of most people today. Hopefully this all passes quickly, Indonesia becomes normal again, we can go out again. Watch esports events together, especially watch MPL Season 6. Because Victim Esports will be in MPL Season 6. Just pray.” Rickel added.
At a glance, remembering the struggles of Sanztuy, Xinthink, Saanji, Renbo, OnMyWay, and Flamming in MDL Season 1. We should be getting a team that will be the strongest dark horse in the MPL match. Once again, let’s just pray that the Victim Esports team will actually enter MPL Season 6. #gloriusvictim
