Vice Minister of Trade Says Online Games Can Be Profitable Export Commodities

GAMEFINITY.ID, Singkawang – It seems that the online gaming industry is starting to look promising for some people. The proof is that the Deputy Minister of Trade Jerry Sambuaga said that online games could be one of Indonesia’s export commodities.

“Online games can be an alternative for our products to be exported. So far, we may export a lot of oil and gas and non-oil and gas products, but we also see other breakthroughs such as online games,” said Jerry.

He believes that diversification is necessary, so that it does not always use physical product commodities, which is usually done by Indonesia.

According to him, if Indonesia uses online games as an export product, it will provide many benefits to the country.

First of all, shipping costs or online gaming fees don’t cost a lot of money. Of course, this is because online games do not need the logistics costs that are usually used for physical goods.

In addition, he predicts that the online game industry will become big and have business opportunities for the people of Indonesia. Moreover, coupled with the number of young people now who are starting to make games.

“I think in the future we have to play like this. That we still export other commodities, but again there are new breakthroughs that we can do, one example is online games, “he concluded.
