Valorant Patch 1.09, Jett & Operators on Big Nerf! Here's What You Should Know!

Valorant Patch 1.09, Jett & Operators on Big Nerf! Here’s What You Should Know!

A future update introduces a lot of changes that could lead to major changes in the current meta.

Riot has released full patch notes which details all the changes that occurred. With Operator given heavy nerf, Jett already received his attack indirectly.

But Riot still decided to nerf the duelist, along with Reyna too.

Jett’s Blade Storm skill is one that is nerfed, this is probably due to the potential for playing at a higher rank.

The player can easily shoot his opponent and use Jett’s mobility to change position for the next target.

Patch 1.09 also reduces headshot from three to two when using Burst Fire (Right Mouse Click). And Burst Fire will now have damage falloff which starts on 12 meters and continues to fall to 35 damage.

There will also be a delay between using right mouse click shots, increasing to 0.45 seconds from 0.33 seconds.

Pair this change with a loud nerf to Operator and Jett might have a hard time keeping his head above water.

Operator price increased to 5,000 Creds and get nerfs for rate of fire, limited movement speed, deadzone accuracy, and instant gear time nerf.

Since the majority of Jett’s players use Operators, the play of both may decline in the future.

For Agent Reyna, the rate of fire during her ultimate is lowered from 25 to 15 percent. Duelists are known to be too OP when playing at lower ranks, this will give opponents a chance during one-on-one gun battles.
