Upgrade Ritual Guide in Ragnarok X: Next Generation

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – In addition to having the Ragnarok X Tensura event accompanied by the Top-Up Giveaway Slime Surprise event, Ragnarok X: Next Generation is an adaptation of the Ragnarok Online game which is made quite similar to the original version. Several classic systems of Ragnarok Online have been re-appeared in Ragnarok X, one of which is an upgrade system or equipment forging.

The equipment forging system in Ragnarok X is further developed, giving rise to Refine, Upgrade, Enchant, and Card functions. These four types of upgrades have different effects on equipment and have different success rates as well.

For example, upgrading in Ragnarok Online will increase the basic status of an equipment. While Refine will increase the upgrading status of the equipment.

Although the increase in status can be done continuously, but actually Ragnarok X provides a specific target called Awakening. Each category has its own target which can be seen directly in the Awakening options section which can be accessed in the character menu section on the right arrow.

In this guide, we specialize in the white equipment upgrade (Instance) section with the target of achieving the second Tier Awakening Upgrade (20% Upgrade Effect).

Three Days Ritual

To upgrade optimally, you can follow the three-day schedule that is usually done by people who want to upgrade their Instance equipment. This method could be started from level 1, but usually people would start chasing their equipment at level 40.

This schedule is structured in such a way that you don’t spend a lot of resources and time.

First day

The first day you can do the daily quest “Xavier’s Mysterious Item” to get 10 Fish Print Commemorative Coins. If you are determined enough, you can do this fishing competition to get more Fish Coins. You have to save this coin to buy a fishing rod on the second day.

After completing the Xavier quest you can spend the Odin Blessing that you get from the Daily Quest on the Mission Board. When Odin Blessing runs out, you will have Stamina that you can use to do Life Skills.

Do Life Skill Mining on the first day until your Stamina runs out. You can buy Advance Pickaxe at Sundries or at other players’ Vending.

After completing Mining. You can close the day by hunting, doing story quests, or CoC.

The second day

The second day you can start by completing the quest “Xavier’s Mysterious Item” to get 10 Fish Print Commemorative Coins. Once you have 20 coins, you can spend them on Xavier to buy an Automatic Fishing Rod (20 coins).

After getting the Automatic Fishing Rod, you are required to buy the bait you need to get Shell, Turquoise, and Cobblestone. After getting the bait you need, you can continue working on the Daily Quest and spend Odin Blessing for Stamina.

Once Stamina is accumulated, you can fish in Prontera using the bait you have. Use the Automatic Fishing Rod first until it runs out, then manual fishing. One for Automatic Fishing Rod can be used for 50 baits, so calculate how many Bait you have for manual or automatic fishing.

Fish Print Commemorative Coins can be purchased at the Exchange Center. That means you can buy it using Crystal. You can take advantage of the Top-Up Giveaway Slime Surprise event to buy the Diamonds you need.

The third day

On this third day you can repeat all the rituals of “Daily Mission” and “Xavier’s Mysterious Item” which is then continued by spending Odin Blessing to gain Stamina.

After you get all Stamina, you can start upgrading your equipment while smelting to make Phracon I, Carnium I, Bascyx I by using the items you get from Mining and Fishing.

After completing Smelting and upgrading, you can repeat the three-day ritual from the first day onwards until you finally reach the first and second Tier awakenings.

This three-day ritual can be used continuously until you finally need a different fish for Phracon II, Carnium II, Bascyx II. You can see the list of requirements for these items in the Life Skills section.

Additional Tips

If three days is too long, you can cut one day off by sacrificing one Life Skill.

You can just focus on Fishing and Smelting and then buy Upgrade Metal at the Exchange Center. Or do Mining and Smelting and then buy Fish at the Exchange Center.

The two methods above have their own pros and cons. If you focus on Fishing and Smelting then you can upgrade very quickly, but it costs a lot when Refine.

If you choose Mining and Smelting, the Upgrade process will be slow because Mining does not have a definite stone yield. But in the future, Refine and Enchantment will be easier.

If you run out of materials when your stamina runs out, you can buy these materials to other players through the Exchange Center. If you run out of Crystals you can exchange Diamonds which you can buy cheaply and safely at Razer Gold. Top-up Razer Gold to get the Diamonds you need, and avoid wasting your time.

If you lack Stamina, you can run the Minigame “Arm-Wrestling” at the Tavern of Prontera, Morroc, or Alberta.

In one day you can get two Stamina Potion (60 Stamina). If you are a VIP Member user, you can take the Minigame+1 option so that you get an additional Stamina Pot. You can buy VIP Members through Razer Gold.

Don’t forget, Razer Gold provides a Slime Surprise Top-Up Giveaway event, details of which can be seen here http://bit.ly/razergoldrox.
