Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg Share New Appearances in Uncharted Film Version

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Actors Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg shared their latest appearances as Nathan Drake and Victor Sullivan in the film adaptation of the game Uncharted. Through their Instagram accounts, both of them look like their favorite characters from the game made by Naughty Dog.

“Nice to meet you, I’m Nate #uncharted,” wrote Holland on the Instagram account @tomholland2021. The Spider-Man star had a chance to meet the actor and voice actor of Nathan Drake’s version of the game, Nolan North on the shooting location. North praised Holland’s appearance which was considered like seeing a reflection in a mirror.

After a few days, it was Wahlberg’s turn to upload an Instagram video which was published on Saturday (10/24/2021). Wahlberg appears with a mustache similar to Sully’s character, who mentors Nate as a treasure hunter. The Uncharted film will be directed by Ruben Fleischer, who previously directed Venom and Zombieland. The storyline of this film will be a prequel to the plot game Uncharted featuring Nathan Drake as a young treasure hunter who learns from his mentor, Victor Sullivan.

Besides Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, Uncharted will also star veteran actor Antonio Banderas, as well as Sophia Taylor Ali and Tati Gabrielle. As one of the best-selling games of all time (with record sales of 41 million units), this film adaptation is one of the most anticipated films for moviegoers and gamers alike. Uncharted is scheduled for release on July 16, 2021.

As part of the film’s teaser, Holland also briefly spoke with Vice President Naughty Dog and the co-director of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End (2021), Neil Druckmann, who called the filming location “looks crazy”. Uncharted is the first feature film from PlayStation Productions, a studio formed by Sony Interactive Entertainment to adapt its original game properties in the form of a film and television series.
